The donation will fund the creation of football mini-pitches in Newham in East London.West Ham Honorary Life President Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson and Chairman and CEO Eggert Magnusson confirmed the decision on behalf of the club’s board. Eggert Magnusson said: “When we arrived at West Ham last year, we said that we must not forget our responsibility towards our local community. Our supporters are at the heart of everything we do and make West Ham United what it is.
